I love the story and for me is more clear the fact of her leg. I´m confusing about if she is caring for her siblings and she doesn't have the entire health. Maybe when she is siting with her bros and sis, put in the drawing something that the audience catch this detail.

I love your art style and all the details you added to your character. Her motivation and struggles seem very clear and easy to relate to. It’s an especially good fit for her to dream of roller-skating since she can’t walk well and probably wants to feel confident on her own two feet in whatever way she can.
One thing I noticed is that she got hurt by being attacked by a pack of hyenas. If lions are anthropomorphised to behave like humans do in our world, is it the same for hyenas? That makes me thing it was some sort of animal kingdom gang war and she got caught in the crossfire, or maybe cross-species bullying gone overboard at school. It might be simpler to just say she got hurt in an accident as a child.

Oh, I love the potential drama and dynamics of a big lion family! Lily being stuck in the middle taking care of the youngest while the oldest siblings are occupied :(( I like that our protagonist uses a cane and would love to see how this factors into her dreams! I know a lot of athletes use adaptive devices. I've seen deaf dancers, blind skateboarders, and I'd love to see Lily skate in a way that's easier for her <3 My biggest complaint about this is that it ends. I want to see more! Are the animals in Los Angeles mostly species found there the way the lion family is from Tanzania? Do we get to see Lily remember or talk about the hyena attack? I would also love to see more of the family and whether or not they help Lily go to the roller disco. Excited for this!

This look really cute and fun! I love your drawings and character designs, and like the vibe of big cats roller skating in california. The only comment I'd give is that when you mention her having to watch her bratty brothers and not being able to hang out with her older sisters, we don't really see her reaction to these things and just see her sitting enjoying her time with her supposedly bratty brothers. I think showing a picture of her being annoyed with them, and then one of her longing to be with her sisters or being told by them that she's too small to hang with them would help support this idea. Overall though I think you've got a really great start!
