I think the story was shown great through the drawings

It's adorable! Even though it's a rough edit, you managed to perfectly convey the story and the characterization of the characters is on point! The grandpa (?) is grumpy and rough around the edges, but it is made very clear that he cares about the little girl enough to realize he overreacted, the little girl is joyous and brings a good energy to the piece.

I love it! The opening with the mom dropping off the kid is always humorous . I love the small facial expressions you use between the mom and dad. That being said, the rest of your story (with the in progress boards) are super clear and even without faces I get exactly what you're trying to convey with simple head movements and shapes. Your animation is very clear. Once the images are complete, I think sound effects and some music would definitely enhance the story and really hit home each beat.

Hey, Allison! You did an excellent job telling the story with visuals - it's a hard thing to do and I'm sure it took a ton of time. Well done! You've nailed the facial expressions and body language. I think the only thing that's confusing to me is whether to girl has some kind of power that she chose to yield in the moment her lightning connects with her (uncle???). Did she know about her power? Other than that, I'm super impressed! Great job - can't wait to see yours in the exhibition!
