ACT1 - Once upon a time there was a constellation called Orion Like every day, he took care of the animal constellations and played with them; especially with his favorite, Canis. Then they went together to the Horsehead Nebula, where Orion lived, and there he fed the animals with stardust. Every time someone approached his home, Orion hid. Even from Aquarius, the nice constellation that distributed the water to all the constellations. Orion was unable to talk to anyone, since, thousands of years ago, he made a huge mistake: during a fierce battle, fear overcame him and he was unable to destroy the dangerous meteorite that wiped out much of life on Earth. and that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs. Although the others tried to comfort him, Orion was too embarrassed and insecure, and he decided to isolate himself with the only ones who understood him: the animals. And never fight again. But one day, the great enemies of the constellations, Phobos and Deimos, decided to attack again by launching a dangerous meteorite directly to planet Earth, wishing to end all the life of those they considered inferior: us, the humans. Orion was with his animals when they heard the horn announcing danger…
ACT2 - Aquarius was blowing his conch shell, alerting all the constellations. All of them, except Orion, ran to meet at the edge of the galaxy. Each of them was prepared for battle. At a signal from Sagittarius, they all went on the attack to protect Earth.
The meteorite was merciless. Because of that, constellations began to be defeated. Orion and the animals looked at everything in horror, but they did not come out from behind their nebula.
Suddenly, Sagittarius launched a powerful arrow at the meteorite, but instead of destroying it, it divided into several pieces and continued inexorably towards earth, destroying everything in its path.
Several of those dangerous fragments headed for the Horsehead Nebula. Aquarius noticed and tried to protect Orion and the animals from them, throwing a shield of water around the nebula with his vessel, but he alone couldn't stop the dangerous shards.
Orion didn't dare to help, his whole body trembled. Suddenly, Canis ran out and handed him his old stardust-covered fighting cudgel, and tried to drag him to Aquarius for help.
However, Orion refused and violently rejected Canis. Because of that, the animals were ashamed of his behavior, and they all ran to help Aquarius and the rest of the constellations in battle, without Orion being able to stop them.
Everyone was working together, except for our protagonist.
And suddenly, the vessel containing the water shield broke. Because of that, the protective barrier disappeared, and before the terrified eyes of Orion, the meteorite destroyed everything and everyone, including Aquarius, and Canis.
ACT3 - Everything became dark, the stars disappeared, and all the pieces of meteorite rejoined into one gigantic one, advancing inexorably towards the helpless earth. Everything seemed lost, until finally, a light shone again in the galaxy. Orion, full of rage, stood before our planet, with his weapon in his hand, eager to avenge his friends. All his fear and insecurities were gone, and with a tremendous swing, he shattered the meteor into a thousand pieces.
The fireball exploded, and all the pieces turned into stardust, and that dust brought the constellations back to life and the sky shone again. Everyone turned to Orion, showering him with cheers and applause: he was the new hero of the night sky.
Ever since that day, Orion returned to protect our planet with the rest of the constellations, and managed to regain his courage and self-confidence.
