I really like the third What If idea - so much possibility for learning about a character, community and the importance of communication. It makes me wonder about the town, the park, where the old lady comes from and what she's doing, it makes me wonder a lot of things! :) I would love some clarity on who or where the paper airplane comes from, and why the old lady needs to communicate this way? Such a lovely idea!

The secont one is very nice, because is like people now, some times forget to think and go right a way for the internet.
I wonder how is go to change and make they use ther magic.

These ideas are creative and out of the box! The one i enjoy the most is the mermaid singing into seashells because finding something so simple that can give a lot of story! It makes me wonder if there is specific songs or they tie into their history? The thing that makes it unclear is if mermaids are hidden or some people know about them?

My favorite idea was definitely the first one. The concept is clear and you already have room for connection between 2 or more characters. This is looking good so I think all you have to consider is the time period and the relationship between humans and mermaids. Excited to see what you choose!

All very creative. I like the Fairies losing their powers best as it seems you can go in a lot of good directions with this and make an interesting cultural comment. Makes me wonder the back story for how the fairies were introduced to technology and why, since they do have powers, they would need it.

These are great ideas. The Seashell history one is my absolute favorite. I love listening to seashells. It makes me wonder about what kind of recordings and what the information means to the finder. I hope you develop this idea.
To think something is unclear here, would be wondering why, how, and what is she doing with this. But All of this would be story development.

I like the Mermaid idea the best. It gives so many options for the full story or maybe even secrets that send her on the quest. I would clarify when this takes place, example maybe in the past when they landing in the new world.

Whoooooa! I love these ideas. ESPECIALLY the mermaid one. It's so creative and thoughtful. And how cool would that be to come across that kind of shell! It makes me wonder what it would sound like. Is the mermaid speaking into it like she would write in a diary? Or is it like a recording of snippets of her life? What happens now that a human has heard this? It's unclear at the moment how the girl knew it was the history of mermaids. But honestly, this is one of my favorites! :D

Thank you!! Your questions are really helpful. At first I pictured that the shell was found on accident, but now I’m leaning towards the mermaid recording it on purpose for the little girl to find. Still developing ideas :)
