Hi! What's compelling to me about this piece is I think you really nailed the combination of storytelling with music and imagery. Your original music is absolutely beautiful and your animation style (I like the loose lines) and drawings are great--your hard work really shows! Amazing work : )

Final Animatic
First and foremost, I recommend watching it on YouTube because it’s more likely to be how it should be. On here, it tends to not be with the music as much.

I had a lot of fun doing this. Not only was it really fun to be able to figure out a story to go along with the song I wrote, but it was also really fun to figure out the designs for them and everything. Leo, the astronaut, I made his head shaped like an hourglass to represent his limited time. The astronaut helmet is a coffin to represent it being the cause of his death. The wife, Luan, her head shape is like a heart because of her continued love for him and her hair is shaped like a grandfather clock to represent her time continuing. A clock continues each day and eventually will stop working like how she will die eventually, but not soon. His head being an hourglass, the hourglass only goes for a short time and then it stops forever unless someone flips it over.
Some of the frames (I’m not sure they’re called that in animatics) I struggled with because of the app I was using. I would draw it and then I went to the next one, and when I went back it was gone. So some parts, I didn’t have as much of a background mainly because of that problem. I think there was too much for it to handle, but I’m not sure. I just know not to use that app in the future.
I want to thank my parents for being really supportive of this whole thing and helping me kind of figure out what works and what needs changing. I also would like to thank my grandma who also helped me figure out what I should have in it. But since I worked on this alone, I don’t have specific people on a team to mention.
