Hope you have recovered from covid and are doing well.
Super impressive work with the shot, great and touching story. Good flow of scenes in the story boards. Good luck. Ohh and please wish the music composers for an amazing job adapting to the theme.

A very bitter sweet story and beautifully drawn. The music really draws that mourning piece of me. It's great an original piece was written for the story. I hope you're feeling better now and great job to Moon Pie!

An ode to loss
Artist of the team here! Unfortunately I caught covid, hence the late submission. If you do get a chance to check this out, I appreciate it! And a big thanks to my team for all their hard work, especially during testing season.
A father mourns the loss of his partner. But, along with his son, they go on a slow journey to heal and grow, accepting the loss as a part of them. But when the father and son get into a fight, the father is left feeling lost and alone- having no idea how to make up with his son. And when all seems hopeless, a butterfly guides him through his memories, where he gets an opportunity to meet his partner once more. After saying their goodbyes, the father finds himself transported back to the present, at his partner's grave, where his son calls out to him. In a show of vulnerability, the father does what he knows works best; gives his son a hug much like his partner gave him a hug.

Sriya and Rohan worked very hard on the music for this, which is completely original btw, so a big thanks to them for cheering me on and helping out.
