This is a really good message. I think you executed it well! I like how you tied the restaurant back in at the very end. It was clever

Oh my gosh, this is SUCH a fun concept. Keep it, keep it, keep it. I love the idea of all the Time Square ads having their own lives and conflicts and dramas as they float above the busy Manhattan humans. Your three acts are all so fun. I love the dramatic Electra, the confident Devita, and the wise but didactic Fred. Since Electra's drive in the beginning is "be the biggest diva in the prime advert spot" and her lesson in the end is "I am content with whatever spot i get in the 2D world because my friends love me," can raise the stakes even higher in act 2? Can there be a moment where Electra's friends reject her because she's been so cruel? And then she doesn't care about that until she realizes she's alone, even if she's in the prime spot? All around, you built such an entertaining and creative fantasy world within our real world. Awesome story!

I love the story! I think something that could add to the story is if maybe Electra had to figure out her way back into the advertisements. Dva meeting a dva is a good idea

Electra

Once upon a time... There was a diva living inside time square advertisements.
- Electra is in her dressing room getting ready with a lot of pomp and circumstance.
- Electra is bossing everyone around waiting for her big entrance.
- In a flash, we see Electra radiant in her ad in Times Square, looking amazing.

Every day... she relished her spotlight in the prime advertising position.
- Every day, she makes fun of ordinary ads (“Those restaurant commercials are the worst”), because she looks down upon them.
- Every day, she listens to her hair stylist, Fred's, encouragement and wisdom, but still is dismissive of him. (“Ellie, one day you are going to find that the light of ordinary life is far brighter than the limelight is.”)
- Every morning, she walks up to the placement office to get her assignment, knowing she is always assigned to the prime spot.

Until one day... someone younger and more exotic shows up and takes the first spot.
- Electra walks up to the front of the line, holding out her hand expecting her name to be called
-Then someone else's name is called ....FIRST. Her name is Devita Royale (“It means goddess” Devita reminds people when she introduces herself). She's the next diva.
- Everyone reacts in different ways, but Electra is the most dramatic. She goes back to her dressing room and laments to Fred. (“It’s not just losing my spot to that..that girl named after a chocolate sundae. Fred, I think I am losing who I am!” “Ellie, I’ve always found that when I lose part of who I think I am that I find there is actually someone much better hiding underneath.”

Because of that... she becomes amazingly paranoid and reminisces about the past
- flashback to electra's mom telling her as a child (“You are a beauty my child. Never forget this is the only thing you’ll ever have of any value!”)
- she snaps at a friend who is trying to be nice to her, and he remembers how it used to be before she became famous (grabbing beers in olive garden ad, pulling pranks in other billboards...)
- some friends try to console her, but she is mean to them and turns inward (“Electra there is so much more to you than pixels.”)
- she remembers the moment she stopped prioritizing her friends... a friend threw a party for her and she never showed up because she had something more important to do

Because of that... she tries thinking for ways to secure her spot at the top
- could she accidentally send the new diva into the sewer?
- Electra tries to make her own ad to star in, but ends up looking ridiculous
- a friend says why dont you flirt with joe brown the main advertising exec to help you get a good ad
- Electra has a light bulb moment!!!! That's exactly what she should do.

Because of that... she tries to the get the attention of a real advertising exec to ensure she's famous
- she tries to flirt with him within the rules (i.e. can never talk), and sure enough he's staring at her!
- her friends say no he is not staring at you like that.. he lives in the other world it doesnt work like that ! “For God’s sake Electra, you don’t really believe he thinks your real.”
- her friends reminde Electra that they are here to help and love her and is this second position really so bad? “It’s all a matter of perspective Ellie. Each of us has to decide whether our “ranking” comes from without or within.” “Oh Fred, that’s easy for a hair stylist to say, but not for…..a star!”
- Electra becomes obsessed and does anything to get his attention - hair twirls, blowing kissing, and skirts the line of interactions to try to prove it
- Everyone knows if you cross the line though.. you are relegated to holding up the times square ball.
- So she says she's going to talk to him (against the rules!) and her friends say NO! we've been supportive until now but this is too far

Until finally... as she's about to speak... she sees the man with a woman on his arm, and the woman is… the “real” 3D Electra!
- she is shaken as she realizes she really isn’t a “star” in the real world. As her friends console her she remembers things they said
- she now remembers her friends telling her that 2D people aren't actually famous, it's the 3D people that are famous
- “There is no paparazzi in this world Electra.”
- she turns around to look for her papprrazzi and it's just her ordinary friends waving and smiling at her

And ever since then... she accepted herself as a citizen of the 2D world, and looked at the 2D world with new eyes.

- She was content to live with her ordinary 2D friends after all, they are the ones that cared about her all along.
- she treats them more kindly
- and learns that her hairstylist once was famous too - he was once fredericoooo ! and went through the same fall from fame that she did. He always said – “Never forget Ellie, that you're not the one who's famous” (she used to roll her eyes since that's what ALL the old people say, but now she understands)
- Electra hugs Devita Royale and says “Don’t let the attention take your attention away from what really matters.” Ellie then looks at her friends.

The moral of the story is… BLOOM where you are planted
- True contentment is found in accepting who you are. Accept your situation and BUILD from THERE and focus on what's great in your life
- flash forward to them having beers in the red lobster commercial ad in the background “Man I had forgotten how good the popcorn shrimp is!”
