Eternal Jade

Once upon a time an ambitious researcher named Jade, drove through an abandoned village in the Amazon to meet up with a previously sent research team.

Everyday they traveled back and forth with the team into the jungle. Reviewing notes and sketches. Looking for this mysterious healing plant and the missing villagers.

Until one day, Jade discovered a strange glowing plant that seems to be leading deeper into the rainforest.

Because of that, Tao approaches Jade discreetly with machete in hand. There is false celebration of their discovery. Tao steals the plant from Jade. Tao is pierced through the chest by glowing vines.

Because of that, Jade is full of adrenaline and scared to grab the sample, but does so and takes off deeper into the rain forest. The research group discovers Tao and goes looking for Jade.

Because of that, Jade gets distracted for a brief moment and falls into a huge sinkhole. Breaking their leg on impact. Jade finds the origin of the plant and the missing villagers.

Until finally, the plant guardians emerge from the underground cave and surround Jade. The obelisk glows the same color as the plant in Jade's hand. The plant heals Jade and they transform into one being.

Ever since that day, Jade has been restoring the forest and protecting it from the outside world. Stopping any further exploitation of the forest's resources.

The moral of the story is the cycle of selfish gain is only broken by selfless deeds. Protect what is important to you.

This is where the special thanks would go!  I’m assuming they will be a little longer this week, therefore, I designed extra space for them. If there is far more description and special thanks then there is space, this entire box becomes scrollable.
